Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior,
Waiting the coming day, Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes,
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And he lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!
This morning Aaron and I went out at dawn to watch the sunrise. We read the story of the resurrection from Luke together while we watched the sun come up. It was a really special way to spend our first Easter together.
After the beautiful worship service at church, we came home and shared a lovely meal together.
